The SCA-RL/SCA-RLA is a low cost, high performance SCA receiver. It is a replacement for the SCA-BA and SCA-BL. It features an improved design that will provide better performance in urban areas where numerous stations can overload sensitive receivers, while maintaining the high sensitivity needed in rural areas. It is also designed to tolerate LPFM stations, which may appear in the future. The SCA-RL is the basic low-cost receiver, while the SCA-RLA is the version that offers many of the options formerly available only on the SCA-BA.
The SCA-RL/SCA-RLA feature enhanced tone controls, main/sub switch (which can be disabled at the factory), and provision for dynamic noise reduction. The SCA-BLA has provision for external antenna connector with switch, and line-output jack.

All ComPol, Inc. receivers utilize our patented superhetrodyne SCA demultiplexer. This technology replaces coil-capacitor filters with ceramic filter elements to guarantee the highest possible fidelity with minimum distortion and out-of-band noise. Also, this results in minimal aging. (Patent number 5,023,933)
Note: These SCA receivers are made in the United States of America. Most
major components are also made in the USA.
